Is your child eligible for Pupil Premium? 

Who is eligible?

The school is awarded the additional funding for children who meet any of the following criteria:

  • Have a parent serving in the armed forces;
  • Are currently entitled to free school meals
  • Have been entitled to free school meals within the last 6 years;
  • Are ‘looked after’
  • Are covered by a guardianship order
  • Are covered by a residency order
  • Have been adopted from care.

The Team

Our Inclusion Team at Goring is made up of Miss Senior, Inclusion Leader, Mrs Hood, Inclusion Assistant, and 8 Learning Support Assistants who work alongside teachers and TAs in supporting those children with Education Health Care Plans or EHCPs.
Miss Senior has worked as a class teacher, an Advisory Teacher in West Sussex and Lead Advisory Teacher in Surrey for behaviour and has a Master's degree in Education, specialising in behaviour. She also holds the qualification for Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators.

Mrs Hood is an experienced class teacher in EYFS, KS1 and KS2. She has worked with children with ADHD, Autism, those with long term health conditions, those with medical conditions, children from the traveller community and children who are looked after. 

Our LSAs have vast experience in areas of SEN, including attachment, Autism, ADHD, specific learning difficulties, speech and language difficulties and managing behaviour. 
The Inclusion remit is broad and includes those children with SEN or a disability, children for whom school receives Pupil Premium, Children Looked After, Safeguarding and Early Help.

When school is not open please contact Integrated Front Door (IFD) on 01403 229900 or call 999 if there is immediate danger. 

What should I do?

If you have any concerns about your child, always speak to the class teacher first. Make an appointment to see them and write down any questions you may want to ask. 

If you need further advice or support, contact Miss Senior, our Inclusion Leader. If necessary, Miss Senior can make referrals to outside agencies such as Child Development Centre (CDC), CAMHS or Speech and Language Therapy Service.
